If you want better vision, the team at the Eye Center of Northern Colorado doesn’t want cost to stand in your way. Most of our eye procedures and treatments are typically covered by insurance; however, some require out of pocket costs for the patient.

Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Account
If you have access to a Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account, you may be able to set aside pre-tax earnings to save for elective procedures and ultimately end up spending less on the overall cost. There are restrictions with these plans regarding the timeframe when the money must be used, so make sure you know all of the specific rules of your plan before enrolling.

Clinic - Late Cancellation/NO Show Policy
Providing the best medical care possible and seeing patients in a timely manner are of the utmost importance to the Eye Center of Northern Colorado. Due to the increased demand for appointment times and having long waiting lists for cancellations, it has become necessary to implement a Late Cancellation/ No Show policy for office visits.
24-hour notice is required for all cancellations
If a patient appointment has been confirmed and the patient frequently fails to keep the appointment, it will be documented in the patient’s chart and a fee of $50 will be assessed to the patient’s account and may ultimately result in dismissal from our practice.
Surgery Center- Late Cancellation/NO Show Policy

48-hour notice is required for all cancelations
Please note there is a $300 fee for a missed surgery appointment or one that is canceled without a 48-hour notice.
