Your Options for Life Without
Glasses or Contacts
A minimally invasive procedure designed to reduce or eliminate the need for glasses or contacts for patients.
LASIK can improve vision conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism.
Patients who are not good candidates for LASIK due to thin corneas or other conditions may be good candidates for PRK.
Patients who are highly myopic or not candidates for LASIK or PRK may still be very good candidates for the ICL.
Laser vision correction is not always the best treatment option for patients who are severely farsighted.
With clearer vision, you may not need to spend time locating your glasses, inserting / removing / cleaning your contact lenses, or constantly wiping smudges off your glasses. Imagine the freedom!
With clearer vision, you won’t have to worry about your contact lenses popping out of your eyes while driving or doing other important tasks. Imagine the confidence!
With clearer vision, you can wake up in the morning and go about your routine. Traveling will become less cumbersome without the need to pack eyecare supplies. Imagine the ease!
With clearer vision, you won’t have to spend money on replacement contact lenses, contact cleaning solutions and new glasses. Over time, laser vision correction may cost less than the ongoing costs of lens maintenance. Imagine the savings!
Modern Laser Vision Correction technologies can correct astigmatism for most patients. A complete Laser Vision Correction exam is required to let you know for sure if Laser Vision Correction will work for you.
Laser Vision Correction is virtually painless for most patients. Your eyes are numbed with anesthetic eye drops before the procedure. Some patients feel a pressure sensation during the procedure.
Not everyone is a good candidate for Laser Vision Correction, but there may be other procedures that can be performed to enhance your vision. Our team can discuss those options in depth so you can decide what procedure might meet your vision goals.
Risks of Laser Vision Correction surgery include but are not limited to glare, halos, dry eye, vision loss, under-correction, over-correction, need for glasses after surgery, and infection. During your consultation, your surgeon can talk in depth about the risks associated with laser vision correction.
