Soft Lenses (Hydrogel and Silicone Hydrogel):

Soft lenses have become the most popular modality for wear due to their quick adaptation, disposability and improvements that allow for more oxygen permeability. We offer several designs and materials.

Astigmatic (Toric) Soft Lenses:

Soft lenses used to correct astigmatism. Recent advances have made these lenses more comfortable and provide more stable vision.

Rigid Gas Permeable Lenses (RGPs):

RGPs offer the benefit of maximum optics. We carefully analyze corneal data to design RGPs for patients with normal or irregular corneas. Gas permeable lenses make up a large portion of our practice.

Hybrid Lenses:

Hybrid lenses have a hard center lens with a soft lens around it. This combination creates a lens with the best optics of a RGP with the comfort of a soft lens provided by the soft skirt.

Bifocal/Multifocal Soft, Rigid, and Hybrid Lenses:

Bifocal and Multifocal lenses offer the ability to see both distance and near with less reliance upon or no need for reading glasses.

Pediatric Contact Lenses:

We work with our pediatric ophthalmologist to provide your child’s eyes with the most beneficial and healthiest contact lenses. We will make sure your child has the best contact lenses for the development of their vision.

Keratoconus Lenses:

We use the newest technology to analyze keratoconus and fit several different types of lenses depending on the individual cornea. We use soft, hybrid, RGP and sclera lenses to address the keratoconus needs.

Specialty Lenses:

We take care of all of your contact needs including tinted lenses, monovision, cataract lenses, lenses for trauma, sport contact lenses, and post refractive surgery lenses.

As a service to our patients we provide direct shipping when a year’s supply of soft contact lenses is purchased. We also have a large inventory of our most popular lenses so our patients can walk out from their exam with their new lenses in hand.

Testimonials

"I have been a patient of Dr. Robinson for several years. Because of astigmatism my vision is best when using hard contact lenses. I am a difficult fit and, therefore, my relationship with the contact lens specialist is critical. Although the technicians who worked with me prior to Dr. Chaney’s arrival at the Eye Center were very good, Dr. Chaney’s knowledge and expertise as an Optometrist enable her to solve more challenging problems encountered while fitting contact lenses. The changes she has made with my contact lenses have resulted in profound improvements in both vision and comfort. Dr. Chaney is a treasure for patients of the Eye Center.
