You may be a candidate for LASIK if:

• You are at least 21 years old
• You are in general good health
• You have had a stable vision prescription for at least one year
• You have no existing eye disease

You may have been told that you are not a good candidate for LASIK. In some cases, patients who have astigmatism, thin corneas or wear reading glasses have been told they cannot have their vision corrected. The Eye Center of Northern Colorado does not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to vision correction and can therefore address many different circumstances that LASIK only providers are unable to offer.
