William Shachtman, MD William A. Shachtman, M.D.,
General Ophthalmology & Cataract Surgery
Dr. Shachtman is a graduate of UCLA and received his medical degree with honors from Albany Medical College. He completed his internship at UCLA and specialty training in ophthalmology at the University of Colorado. Dr. Shachtman has been practicing general ophthalmology in Fort Collins since 1977.  He is especially interested in small-incision cataract surgery and glaucoma.
William Stevens, MD William W. Stevens, M.D.,
General Ophthalmology & Cataract Surgery
Dr. Stevens graduated from Mississippi College and received his medical degree with honors from Baylor College of Medicine. His internship was completed at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center and his ophthalmology residency was completed at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Stevens began practice in Fort Collins in 1981, at Poudre Valley Ophthalmology. In 1997, he merged his practice with the Eye Center when the new Eye Center Building opened. He practices general ophthalmology with emphasis in small incision cataract surgery.
Matthew Robinson, MD Matthew J. Robinson, M.D.
Medical & Surgical Diseases of the Cornea / Cataract & Refractive Surgery
Dr. Robinson graduated from Duke University and received his medical degree from the
State University of New York at Syracuse. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Louisville, and fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery from Louisiana State University.  His subspecialty practice concentrates on medical and surgical diseases of the cornea and refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK).
Gary Foster, MD Gary Foster, M.D.,
General Ophthalmology, Cataract & Refractive Surgery
Dr. Foster graduated from Brigham Young University and received his medical degree from University of Utah. He also completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at University of Utah. Dr. Foster practices general ophthalmology and treats patients with diabetic eye disease.  He also performs cataract surgery and LASIK and PRK.
Randall Smith, MD Randall W. Smith, M.D.
General Ophthalmology, Cataract & Refractive Surgery
Dr. Smith graduated from Northwestern University with highest distinction and earned his medical degree at Columbia University in New York. He returned to his home state of Wisconsin where he completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Eye Institute, Medical College of Wisconsin in 1993. After 3 years of practice in New Jersey, he and his family settled in Fort Collins. Dr. Smith practices general ophthalmology with an emphasis on refractive, cataract, and glaucoma procedures. He has performed lasik for 5 years and enjoys sharing his experience as a former LASIK patient.
Kent Crews, MD Kent R. Crews, M.D.,
Medical & Surgical Retina
Dr. Crews grew up in Greeley and attended the University of Northern Colorado for undergraduate studies. He then attended the University of Colorado School of Medicine and graduated with Honors in 1992. His internship and residency were completed at the University of Utah. Dr. Crews then completed a fellowship in retinal disease at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Crews is the only retinal specialist in the tn-cities region. His practice focuses on macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and surgical
retina. Appointments by referral only.

        
Patrick Arnold, MD Patrick D. Arnold, M.D.
Pediatric Ophthalmology & Adult Strabismus
Dr. Arnold graduated from Colorado State University and received his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine.  He completed his residency at the University of Washington and his pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus Fellowship at Northwestern University's Children's hospital in Chicago. He is northern Colorado's only full time specialist in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus.
Karl Olsen, MD Karl Olsen M.D.
General Ophthalmology, Cataract & Refractive Surgery
Dr. Olsen completed his residency in general ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College, graduate degree from Georgetown University and Medical degree from the Georgetown School of Medicine. He trained in refractive laser vision correction at the Phillips Eye Institute in Minneapolis Minnesota.  Dr. Olsen's emphasis is in general ophthalmology, small incision cataract surgery, medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma, and refractive surgery.

Chet Erik Reistad, M.D.
Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery of the Eyelids, Orbit, and Lacrimal System
Dr. Reistad is a graduate of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.  He completed his internship and residency at Yale.  He is board certified in ophthalmology and completed a two-year fellowship in ophthalmic plastic surgeryHis Fellowship program at Consultants in Ophthalmic and Reconstructive Surgery in Southfield, MI is approved by the prestigious American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The practice of ophthalmic plastic surgery includes cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the forehead and eyelids, tumor surgery of the eyelids and socket, periocular trauma, tearing problems, eyelids spasm, Botox, and thyroid eye disease. Dr. Reistad treats children and adults.
Kent P. Bashford, D.O.
Fellowship trained Glaucoma specialist. Dr. Bashford is a Colorado native. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Ohio University and his glaucoma fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine.
Dr. Bashford is board certified, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the
American Glaucoma Society. His expertise enhances the comprehensive eye care provided by the Eye Center of Northern Colorado.
